Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has launched a strict disconnection drive for recovery of an unprecedentedly huge outstanding amount of over Rs 37 billion against defaulting residential and commercial customers. Under the drive, electricity supply to all defaulters, irrespective of category or quantum, would be disconnected from August 18 onwards.
Special teams have been deployed all across the residential and commercial areas of KESC's coverage zone to disconnect electric supply of defaulters without any exception. KESC has advised the non-paying consumers to immediately pay their outstanding bills if they did not wish to have their power supply disconnected during Ramazan or on the festive occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.-PR
