The Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Thursday adjourned to August 19 the proceedings in a petition filed against TV channel programme "Darling" as the court could not watch the segment in question. The petitioner, Arif Gondal, claimed that the segment of 'Dua' in the programme was found to be against the spirit of Islam, as the anchor was performing this noble act in a bad manner, hurting sentiments of Muslims.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to issue restrictive orders against the said programme and direct the respondent authorities not to air this programme in future.
