At least four people were killed Friday when an airstrike from a US drone struck a compound in Burmal area of South Waziristan, an intelligence official said. The missile strike took place in the Burmal area of South Waziristan, one of the seven tribal districts along the Afghan border where security forces are fighting Taliban rebels.
The unmanned aircraft fired two missiles into a compound, killing four people and destroying the mud buildings, said an intelligence official who requested anonymity.
