Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) being run under City District Government Karachi (CDGK) to start facility of kidney transplantation soon It is reliably learned here on Friday. In charge of Kidney Ward ASH Professor Waqar Kazmi said that Abbasi Shaheed Hospital would start kidney transplantation in next a couple of months.
He said the procedure of transplantation is too expensive which is beyond the imagination of poor people to afford, however, the service would be free of cost at the hospital. He said daily 20 patients visit the hospital for dialysis while 10 patients are brought in emergency condition to the ward.
