Two minor female siblings drowned in open water tank

At least two minor female siblings were drowned in a water tank of the house in the limits of Surjani police station on Friday. According to the police and rescue sources, the incident took place in a house (R-127) located at Rozee Goth in the remits of Surjani police station where 8-year-old Ramsha daughter of Asghar, who carried her younger sister Neha, 2, slipped and fell in a water tank.
They said that both victims were recovered in an unconscious condition and were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced their deaths. SHO Musadiq Rafiq said the father of the victims, who was a mason by profession, has been living in this house for last 11 years. He said the bodies were taken by the heirs without completing legal formalities.
