Colin Munro a threat to Pakistan with his new achievement
New Zealand’s hard hitter Colin Munro might be a threat to Pakistan in upcoming series, as he has become the only player to score three centuries in Twenty 20 International (T20I).
The left-hander achieved this record against West Indies during the third and final T20I being played at t Mount Maunganui.
Monro scored 104 runs on 53 delivers. He smacked 10 towering sixes and three boundaries during the entertaining knock. He has also become the first batsman in the history of T20I cricket to register three centuries in this format.
Meanwhile, Martin Guptill scored 63 to guide the host to a massive total of 243 runs on loss of five wickets.
Now West Indies need 244 runs to win in 20 overs. New Zealand lead the three-match T20I series 1-0 against the World T20 Champions.
