Thin business was seen on the wholesale grain market on Saturday as most of the buyers were sidelined partly because of city's disturbed law and order situation, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat old Bardan and wheat new Bardan both gained Rs 10 to Rs 2560 and Rs 2575.
Gur better type rose by Rs 200 to Rs 7000 and inferior quality dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 8400, other items maintained overnight levels in process of trading, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type gained Rs 70 to Rs 1170 and good type shed Rs 35 to Rs 1190, they said. On the rice sector Irri-6 Sindh low type retained overnight level at Rs 3700 while the better type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 3750, they said.
