Bollywood movies you shouldn’t miss in 2018

2018 is promising to have the biggest Indian movie releases of the time, with all Khan’s of Bollywood coming up with at least one major movie this year.

This year is also bringing in the some of the most expensive films Bollywood has ever released. Last year did not prove to be the most financially benefiting for the Indian movie industry, however, 2018 has lined up some upcoming films that might just end up covering up last year’s loses.

Zero

Anand L Rai recently released the teaser for his Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starer dwarf movie. The movie, set to be released on December 21, 2018, is one of the most anticipated films of the year.

Race 3

After earning nearly 300 crores in 11 days with his movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Salman Khan is ready bring his magic to the box office again in 2018 with ‘Race 3’ alongside Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem. The initial release date of the movie is set on May 4.

October

Another star that shined bright in 2017 is Varun Dhawan who is ready with two releases in 2018 including ‘October’. The drama/suspense movie has Varun as the highlight and shows a dark side of the actor. The movie set to release in April, 2018.

Padman

Lately, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all about featuring in public awareness movies after starring in super hit ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’. Akshay will be seen next in ‘Padman’, portraying a man creating awareness about menstrual cycle hygiene. The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte and is set to release on January 26.

Veere Di Wedding

The Rhea Kapoor produced movie ‘Veere Di Wedding’ will mark the come-back for actress Kareena Kapoor post giving birth to her son Taimur Ali Khan. The movie is set to release on May 18 and also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swarna Bhaskar.

Padmavati

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’ is finally ready to be released in 2018, after going through multiple controversies in 2017. The movie stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. Although the movie has gotten a clearance from the Censor Board, a definite release date for the movie has still not been issued.

Thugs of Hindostan

Another big budget movie of 2018 is Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. The movie is set to release on November 7 and is being made in a budget of almost 200 crores INR. The movie alsor stars Fatima Sana Sheikh and Katrina Kaif.

Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic

One of Ranbir Kapoor’s career most anticipated movie is the RajKumar Hirani’s untitled biopic of Sanjay Dutt. The movie is the most talked about films after pictures of Ranbir’s unbelievable transformation into Sanjay surfaced on the internet. The movie is predicted to release in March.
