Islamabad police have arrested 14 outlaws from different parts of the federal capital and seized three pistols, drugs and stolen commodities worth Rs 1.095 million, Naeem Iqbal, spokesman of Islamabad police said on Wednesday. Aabpara Police arrested an accused Muhammad Bilal for having stolen mobile worth Rs 25,000, the accused after taking away cell-phone was trying to escape but arrested him.
Bhara Kahu Police arrested a thief namely Naeem Khan and during the investigation police recovered stolen items worth Rs 15,000 from him. Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) Islamabad arrested two thieves identified as Iftikhar and Hafeez ur Rehman for having machinery from Inter-Homes Private Ltd in Industrial Area I-9/3. The stolen machinery valuing Rs 1 million was recovered from the detained watchmen of the company.
Koral police station nabbed four women Khatoon Bibi, Sonia Bibi, Saleema Bibi, Salma Bibi for their alleged involvement in theft cases while Shahzad Town Police apprehended Aziz ur Rehman for having 222 rifle and 30 bore pistols along with rounds. Golra police arrested Abdul Rehman for having 30 bore pistols while CIA police apprehended Zameen in possession of 250 gram opium. The cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
