5,000 medical officers to benefit from HP allowance

As many as 5000 women medical officers, demonstrators, blood transfusion officers in the Punjab province would benefit from the Health Professional Allowance. The Punjab Finance Department has issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
The Pakistan Medical Association office-bearers; President Dr Muhammad Tanveer Anwar and General Secretary Dr Izhar Ahmed Chaudhry, in a joint statement expressed their satisfaction over the issuance of notification. They further said that amendment of the previous notification has been issued in which the Punjab Finance Department had omitted these categories in the pay raise notification, however it is worth mentioning that senior demonstrators have once again been missed in this notification too.
