Sheheryar Ali Malik, Project Director, Guard Auto Zones was awarded Achievement Award 2011 by the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at the recently held 7th Achievement Award function of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI). Auto Zone concept was introduced by Guard Group in line with its desire to excel in service.
The idea has been widely welcomed. Guard Auto Zones have been attached with big stores like Metro & Makro Cash and Carry Pakistan beside with 44 gas stations. Daewoo Bus Company has also hired the services of Auto Zone at their official stay at Motorway - where they could get change of oil, filter or any other service. Guard Auto Zones internet the idea of availability of genuine guard oil and filters, which are necessary for the smooth running of vehicles and safety during long travelling.
The product base is being extended to make it more service oriented. Car polishes and car shampoos have been added as well for the facilitation of car owners. A Customer Care Centre has been established at Guard Filter Factory, from where calls are made to the customers of Auto Zone reminding them when their vehicles require change of oil and filter usually too busy in their business routine office work. The Auto Zone Project has been recognised as novel idea even at Chambers and Federation level as a useful service to the auto owners. As a result Auto Zone Project has received number of awards including Brands of the Year Award 2008-2010.-PR
