The Punjab Minister for Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Punjab Malik Ahmed Ali visited the flood-hit areas of Ganda Singh Wala Kasur and personally monitored the relief activities being carried out there. The Minister visited Talwar Post, Sehjra, Basti Mahiwala, Kotli Fateh Khan and Pattan Dhopsarri and met flood-affected people, who showed their satisfaction about relief services being provided by District Administration.
At Pattan Dhopsarri, Malik Ahmad Ali instructed the 1122 staff to increase the number of boats for the transportation of flood affected people. During his visit, livestock officers concerned informed the Minister that in 84 villages of Kasur pre-flood vaccination process has been completed, while during flood 1.5 lakh animals have been vaccinated and 21165 have been treated.
