A Bahrain-based Pakistani social figure and Chairman of Shahid Welfare Trust, Mian Shahid Mahmood hosted an Iftar dinner for the Pakistani community in Bahrain at a local hotel.
Welfare Attache in the Embassy of Pakistan in Bahrain, Rana Muhammad Rafiq Khan represented Ambassador, Saleem on the occasion, said a message received here from Bahrain on Sunday. Mian Shahid Mahmood welcomed the distinguished guest and threw light on the objectives of his welfare trust. He said the trust has started welfare and social activities in Pakistan and informed that the chief co-ordinator of the trust and renowned poet, Safdar Shahid is working day and night to further promote the welfare activities.
