Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate a computerised draw for provision of yellow cabs here at the Arts Council on August 29. The district administration has made appropriate security and other arrangements in this regard.
After attending the ceremony, the CM will meet delegations and party workers at Circuit House. Later, he will reach DG Khan for inauguration of the scheme. After the draw, he will hand-over keys of the taxis to the lucky winners of the scheme.
Dera Gazi Khan District Co-ordination Officer, Iftikhar Ali Sahu said 2,382 yellow cabs would be provided to the people of DG Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Rajanpur.
