The country's liquid foreign exchange reserves have increased by $164.4 million to $18.06 billion during the last week. According to State Bank of Pakistan, foreign reserves stood at $17.898 billion a week earlier. Reserves held by SBP have mounted by $155.3 million to $14.602 billion as on September 3, 2011 as compared to $14.447 billion as on August 27, 2011.
In addition, with an increased of $9.1 million, the reserves held by banks reached $3.46 billion mark.
