The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader in Indian Occupied Kashmir Syed Ali Geelani and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik have condemned the Wednesday blast outside the New Delhi High Court that left 12 people killed and scores injured.
Syed Ali Geelani in a statement issued in occupied Srinagar expressed sympathies with the families of deceased and said that killing of innocent people was an act of terrorism. "Killing innocent people in any part of the world is terrorism," he maintained, KMS reported. He said that those involved in such acts were enemies of humanity, adding that such violent incidents were carried out to create trouble and disrupt peace.
"Keeping in mind the Samjhauta Express blast and Malegoan blast, it would be early to conclude who the perpetrators are," he said. The JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik in his statement strongly denounced the Delhi blast and described it as an act of sheer terrorism.
He said that people involved in such heinous acts could not be considered as members of human society. APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt in a statement, while expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of life in the blast, termed it an act of terrorism.
He condoled with the families of those killed in the blast and prayed for early recovery of the injured. On the other hand, the President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Maulana Usman Mansoorpuri and Patron of Peoples Democratic Party, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed in their separate statements also condemned the blast.
