Election for the zonal chairman of Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (PHMA) will be held on September 17, 2011, while five members for central executive committee of PHMA have been elected unopposed.
The election commission of PHMA has announced that out of 12 valid nomination papers received to contest election of as member central executive committee representing the south zone, some seven candidates have withdrawn their nominations by the last date of September 5, 2011. Therefore, the election commission has declared remaining five candidates Muhammad Naqi Bari, Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Shafi, Jaweed Bilwani and Muhammad Babar Khan as elected unopposed.
The election commission has further announced that out of 12 valid nominations received to contest election of members Zonal Committee, some five candidates have withdrawn their nomination papers by the last date of September 5, 2011. Hence, the election commission has declared seven candidates namely Abdul Rauf Pateel, Amir Moten, Salman Ishaq, Abdul Jabbar Gajiani, Naeem Zakria Moosani, Khalid Mukashi and Arshad Mehboob.
