The PPP MPAs staged a rally to protest against kidnapping of Shahbaz Taseer, son of former Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer, just before the beginning of Punjab Assembly session on Friday. The rally, led by Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz Ahmed, started from Governor's House and concluded at the PA building.
It may be noted that the PA session is being convened on the requisition of the PPP is likely to discuss severe uproar from opposition benches which is expected to come hard on Punjab government over its failure in the recovery of Shahbaz Taseer who was kidnapped two weeks back. The rally participants chanted slogans against the Punjab government for its failure in recovering the abducted son of former Governor Punjab.
