The government has approved PC-1 for establishing a Women Business Incubation Centre (WBIC) here in the city featuring women entrepreneurs to boost their business and contribute to the national economy. General Manager Operation, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda), Anwar Qudwai informed this scribe in a talk here on Friday.
He said as soon as the chamber of commerce and industry would allocate suitable place for construction of the centre under a network plan, it would commence its work. He said the mega project would pave the way for women to stand on their own feet and support business capacity building of indigenous people.
