Thatta badly affected area

As rain devastation continues in lower Sindh District Thatta is one of the most affected areas where as many as 1,086,638 persons of 494 villages have been affected during the current spell of heavy rain across the district, says a statement issued by the district government Thatta.
The statement further reveals that 10 Union Councils of Taluka Jati and Taluka Mirpur Bathoro are severely affected where 165,216 acres of land are under water and 25,336 acres of standing crop is totally devastated due to the heavy rain. The District Government Thatta has established 7 relief camps at different locations.
