The IGP Sindh, Wajid Ali Durrani, has issued directive to the Additional IG Karachi to make a strategy with Rangers for joint patrolling in areas most hit by street crimes. According to a spokesman of the IGP's office on Saturday, the IGP has further asked the Additional IG Karachi to hold meetings with the representatives of city's business community including KCCI, SITE Association and other bodies on regular basis.
Referring to the street crimes in the commercial areas, the IGP also directed for joint patrolling, picketing and snap checking besides search and siege operations to flush out criminal elements without any discrimination. He also sought detailed reports about the performance of the police stations to check their activities to curb crime.
