LONDON: Spot trade was limited on Friday with a slight overhang continuing on Angolan crude from January.
ANGOLA
Up to 10 cargoes of Angolan and Congolese Djeno were still available from the January programme on a delivered basis.
About 15 cargoes of February Angolan were also available.
State firm Sonangol lowered its offer levels for all of its grades on offer this week except Olombendo, which is still being shown at dated Brent plus 80 cents a barrel.
Sonangol was showing Dalia at dated minus 45 cents, down from 30 cents, Saturno at dated minus 55 cents down from 40 cents, Sangos at dated Brent plus 5 cents down from plus 10 cents and Hungo at dated flat, down from plus 10 cents.
NIGERIA
Activity was limited. February loading Bonga was recently offered above dated Brent plus $2.00 a barrel and Usan at around dated Brent plus 20-30 cents a barrel.
Bonny Light was being shown at around dated Brent plus $2.20 a barrel while Qua Iboe, which has a short programme, has been holding at around dated Brent plus $1.90 a barrel.
TENDERS
Results for tenders by Indian BPCL and Indonesian Pertamina did not immediately surface.
India's IOC issued a new tender for West Africa crude for loading March 13-23. The tender closes on Jan. 10 and remains valid until Jan. 11.
India's BPCL issued a new tender for Feb. 6-15 and 16-25 loading for West African or Asian crude grades. It also includes the possibility of US WTI for March 5-10 delivery. The first part closes on Jan. 9 and the second part on Jan. 11.
