ISLAMABAD: Central Power Purchase Agency (CPPA-G) has submitted a tariff proposal to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for import of power from 700.7 MW Azad Pattan Hydro Power Project.
In the petition, the CPPA-G sought reference levelized tariff of Rs 8.5083 /kWh for a concession period of 30 years, official sources told APP here on Monday.
The power regulator would hold hearing into the matter on Thursday.
The project is run of river hydropower scheme located on the Jhelum River district Sudhnoti (AJK). The installed capacity of the project is 700.7 MW and auxiliary consumption has been assumed as 1 per cent while capacity factor has been claimed as 53.1 per cent.
The project would cost $ 1516.168 million.
