Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122 and Shifa International Hospital here jointly started a campaign against dengue virus and Rabies in the colleges. In this regard, joint effort of both the organisations has been started from Police College, Sihala and colleges training.
Rescue 1122 Training Wing has already conducted three days Basic Life Support and Fire Safety Orientation training in colleges and keeping in view the current threat of dengue virus and complications of Rabies these two areas have also been incorporated in Basic Life Support training syllabus. The trainers of Shifa International and Rescue 1122 will impart training to officials of different organisations and students on prevention of dengue virus and Rabies complications and its timely management along-with Basic Life Support and Fire Safety Orientation Training.
The campaign is being started to give maximum knowledge about the measures to be taken against dengue or extending co-operation of community for rabies prevention measures. The students will be imparted this training through presentation, lectures and practical demonstration.-PR
