Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) has hailed the Prime Minister Gilani's decision for convening an All Parties Conference (APC) to evolve consensus on national security situation. Chairman PIAF Sohail Lashari appreciated the bold stand of Pakistan armed forces against US stance and said that entire nation particularly the business community is ready to make sacrifices to safeguard country's sovereignty.
He, however, said that the government would have to make the country economically strong to deal with external threats. "If the country is economically strong no one can threaten us," he added. He said that the country was facing multiple internal and external challenges including energy shortage and deteriorating law and order situation. He said that a large number of industrial units have been closed and thousands of industrial workers have lost their jobs.
