Deputy Commissioner Chaghi Dr Mohammad Saeed Jamali has said that Iranian government was being approached and asked to reopen the zero point, a trade gate between Pakistan and Iran. Talking to newsmen on Monday, he said that Assistant Commissioner Chaghi has approached Iranian border officials and held meeting with them in connection with the opening of the zero point.
"Trade gate between two countries would be reopened soon," he hoped. It may be mentioned here that Iran has shut the trade gate at Taftan, border for indefinite period following the Mastung incident some days back.
