The met office on Thursday said that dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours, as shallow a westerly wave is still persisting over the northern areas. The forecaster said that dry weather is likely to remain across the country during the next 48 hours and ruled out any severe weather warning.
It added that weather was dry in most parts of the country during the past 24 hours and there has been no chief amount of rain recorded in the last 12 hours. The hottest place of the country was Noorpur Thal where temperature level had touched maximum 40 degree centigrade in the last 24 hours, according to the Met Office. The city's weather is also forecast dry in the next 24 hours with maximum temperature ranging between 32 degree centigrade and 34 degree centigrade, it said.
