A large number of students on Saturday staged protest demonstration outside the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in various cities of the province, against errors in their result. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday took notice of the mistakes in Intermediate-I results on the internet and ordered investigation.
He also directed a judicial inquiry to see why wrong results were published. The chief minister said that the students would not be charged paper re-checking fees adding that people responsible for the negligence would be taken to task and the Punjab government would do its best to redress students grievances.
