A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court seeking a halt to the public rally of PML-N scheduled for October 28 in the city. The petitioner, Rana Abdul Hameed advocate contended that the Punjab government was using the public machinery to make the PML-N rally a success. He said that by using the public machinery, a gross violation of mandate had been committed by the government.
The petitioner prayed to the court to restrain the PML-N from holding the rally in question.
