17 alleged outlaws held

Police apprehended 17 outlaws from various areas of the city from whom 47 wine bottles, 500 gram hashish, weapons, car and looted items were recovered. A spokesman said that police rounded up five accused from Bhara Khau and recovered snatched car, four pistols, 500gram hashish and 45 wine bottles from their possession.
Moreover, police nabbed five dacoits and recovered mobile phones, snatched cash Rs 35,000 from them, besides arresting an alms-seeker. He informed that police have obtained physical remand from concerned court for further investigation into the cases.
