Apple users annoyed after replacement batteries go out of stock
Apple has already been going through a rough patch due to the lawsuits and battery explosions. As a cherry on top, Apple has now run out of the replacement batteries and won’t be available again until March, which has angered users even more.
The users aiming to take advantage of the company’s discounted battery replacement offer would have to wait for a few months. Apple declared that they were short of replacement batteries and won’t be available until late March to early April.
One more iPhone battery explodes at Apple store
According to the internal document distributed to Apple Stores and Apple Authorized Service Providers, ‘approximately two weeks’ later iPhone 6 and 6s Plus’ battery replacements will be available again, from late March to early April for iPhone 6 Plus’ battery replacements, MacRumors reported. Meanwhile, replacements of the other models - iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone SE - are expected to be available ‘without extended delays’, however, wait times may vary in different regions.
Many frustrated Apple customers took to social media and expressed their anger over the entire situation.

Very disappointed with @Apple battery replacement. Waited 20 minutes at the store to be told they don't have any in stock. Insane.

#apple_support apple's battery replacement is a scam! After making appointment to store, they tell they are out of stock and you need to pre-order battery. It's a crime to slow down product you sold in the first place and now this? @tim_cook
