National Agricultural Education Accreditation Council, Higher Education Commission has undertaken comprehensive evaluation of various academic departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Agricultural University as part of the accreditation process of all agricultural universities of Pakistan.
NAEAC has completed the process of accreditation through the formulation of Accreditation Inspection Committee comprising highly qualified and experienced subject experts/specialists drawn from various universities and research institutions across the country. The SWOT analysis conducted by AIC under different agriculture disciplines in the university highlighted strong and weak areas and recommended various strategies through consultative processes to improve the shortcomings and weak areas identified in the reports.
For the ongoing site visit, the council has constituted two AICs, one each for entomology and livestock management with prior approval of the competent authority. Both the inspection committees shall work simultaneously two days from November 3-4, 2011. The findings/reports shall be shared with the respective HoDs. Final report would be presented to chairman NAEAC within two weeks of the visit.
