A Children's Literature Festival would be organised in Lahore from November 25. The two-day event would be held from 10 am to 5 pm at Children's Library Complex in Lahore, says an announcement here on Wednesday. The Festival is being organised by the Oxford University Press (OUP), Pakistan, in collaboration with the Foundation Open Society Institute (FOSI) Pakistan.
According to organisers, the Festival will help connect children to books and reading and will be an open, participatory event. It will include reading sessions, featuring famous writers and their works; creative writing sessions with well know creative writers; a session of reading and writing poems and introduction to writing book reviews.
