Wheat seeds, fertiliser distributed among Jamrud farmers

The Fata Secretariat has distributed wheat seeds and fertiliser among farmers of tehsil Jamrud in Khyber Agency. The Secretariat distributed 700 bags of 50kilograms wheat seeds and 50kg fertiliser among 350 farmers of tehsil Jamrud, said a press release on Thursday.
Due to non favourable circumstances and lack of agricultural items many of Khyber Agency's farmers are not able to start the Rabi sowing. The Tehsildar of Jamrud said the government was utilising all resources for the betterment of farmers of tribal areas. Fata Secretariat was also working on many projects including drinking water and flood protection etc to provide a better living standard to tribal communities.
