Member National Assembly Shahnaz Wazir Ali on Thursday was elected unopposed as the chairperson of the Special Committee on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The Special Committee on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) met here in the Parliament House for election of its Chairman/Chairperson.
Dr Attiya Inayatullah proposed the name of Shahnaz Wazir Ali for Chairperson whereas, Hameed Ullah Jan Afridi and all other members seconded her proposal. Dr Nafisa Shah, Dr Nadeem Ehsan, Dr Zil-e-Huma, Saira Afzal Tarar, Bushra Gohar, Asiya Nasir, Khurram Dustagir, Noorul Haq Qadri and Humayun Saifullah Khan also attended the meeting.
