A US delegation led by Consul General William Martin held a meeting with Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan at his residence here on Friday. The delegation including Director of the office of Afghanistan and Pakistan Affairs, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, US State Department, Steven Kraft, Eli Krall, Dan Hamilton and Scott Koertje discussed matters relating to the supply of technology for law and order, judicial training, assistance and co-operation.
Speaking on the occasion, Steven Kraft said that his country was keen to help Pakistan in science and technology specially in its effort to curb terrorism and crime in the country. United States will provide latest gadgets to Sindh police in this regard, he added.
The Home Minister informed the delegation about the steps taken to maintain law and order in the province and thanked the delegation for providing technology and security equipment to Sindh government. The minister also appreciated US desire for providing security equipment to Sindh province.
