Joint Action Committee of PIA Employees (JACPIAE) demanded of the government and superior judiciary to take notice of the alleged corruption, incompetence and poor administration at the national airline as these have been pushing PIA to destruction under the nose of higher authorities.
JACPIAE members and Pakistan Airlines Pilots Association (PALPA) President Captain Suhail Baluch put up the demand as hundreds of workers on Friday staged protest at the PIA Head office against the management's decisions. Atizaz Qureshi, T M Rabbani, Khalid Khan of PALPA, Shukat Jamshed and Zakir Farooq of SAEP, Najeeb-ur-Rehman and Maqsood of ATAP, Aziz Soharwardi and Nadeem Afghan of FENA, Kamran Chaudhry and Ashraf Billu of Peoples Unity, Junejo of PIASE Union and Pasha of United also participated in the protest.
