Excise and taxation authorities sealed on Tuesday the office of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lahore region located at Jail Road, due to non-payment of property tax. However, later during the day, PTI office was de-sealed, after the chief minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the matter.
According to the Excise & Taxation department information the PTI office was sealed due to non-payment of Rs 350,000 property tax despite multiple reminders issued to the party office. The CM Punjab took notice of the step taken by the excise authorities and passed orders to reopen the office on which pertinent authorities reached the location to implement the orders.
