Women Business Development Centre (WBDC) on Tuesday organised a orientation seminar at Institute of Management Studies (IMS), University of Peshawar under its Youth Entrepreneurship Development Forum (YEDF). The WBDC, Project Manager, Nabeela Farman delivered a comprehensive lecture at the Institute, which was attended by a large number of female graduates. Dr Shahjehan, Director of the Institute and senior faculty members were also present on the occasion.
Nabeela Farman highlighted the significance of female entrepreneurship and role of women businessperson in the economy of the country. She asked the youth to come in business field after completing their studies. She added that there are lot of opportunities and platform available to express their skilled and show talent. She said that WBDC is playing an integral role for encouraging female youth through its YEDF to maximum facilitate them in their future business plans.
Nabeela explained that his institute had formed a Youth Entrepreneurship Development Forum for the purpose, which was actively engaged with different business institutes and academia to sensitise female youth about various opportunities for them in business field.
