A nomad girl was kidnapped while her young brother was killed late night in a nearby village, said police on Tuesday. Kauser Bibi, a gypsy woman told Liaqutpur police that a man Falku, an acquaintance, sought hand of her daughter for his second marriage.
The mother refused the proposal and in sequence to that the accused man alongwith his companions Shairu, Wasaya, Nuasha Mukhtar, Kala, Sunhara and four others kidnapped Shazia, d/o of Kauser. However, Malu, brother of the kidnapped girl, offered resistance upon which he was shot dead on the spot.
Liaqutpur police registered a case against the accused men and after post-mortem handed over the dead boy's body to the gypsy family in Chak No 22 where they were residing temporarily.
