Senior Superintend of Police Syed Asad Raza Shah said that combine job would be done to restore peace in the city and policemen would be called back from the duties of private places. He said that police wanted to establish friendly relation with citizens. This he said addressing a meeting during his visit at Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
SSP Hyderabad said that a Committee, comprising the officials of HCCI and Police department, would be made to discuss the problems of industrialists and traders in Hyderabad.
Earlier President Hyderabad Chamber Of Commerce and Industry Goharullah in his welcome address said that affects of law-and-order situation must exist on trade and business, if the law-and-order situation would be under control, the business must be increased and people would be affluent. He well-liked the decision of establishing quick response force and said that detainment of motorcycle lifters is a good step done by Hyderabad Police. He expressed satisfaction on the efforts of Hyderabad Police and hoped that Ashura Day would be passed with harmony and peace.
Afterward Chairman HCCI sub-committee for Law and Order Hamid Mehmood briefed about the problems of business community and said that extra policemen should be deployed to provide security to industries and business centers and further emphasised that the offence of drugs' smuggling should be halted. He demanded that Police verification certificates should immediately be issued to business community. Former president HCCI Haji Yaqoob ensured that co-operation would remain continued with Hyderabad Police.
Senior Vice-President HCCI Turab Ali Khoja said that wrong parking is the cause of losses the business. Police system needed for betterment, he added.
Chairmen HCCI Media sub-Committee Ziauddin said that recovery of looted stuff, capturing 85 criminals and establishing quick task force is ultimately excellent development, which would create the better law-and-order situation in the city. SSP Hyderabad was briefed with the problems of encroachment in Rasham Bazar and Traffic jam situation.
Vice-President HCCI, Abdul Saleem Arain, Members of HCCI Maqsood Ahmed Khan, Khalid Umer, Syed Yawer Ali, Mozam Ali, Pehlaj Rai, Akram Rajput, Muhammad Arif, Saleemuddin, Nadeem Ahmed Siddique and other attended the meeting.
