World AIDS Day will be observed on December 01 with the aim to push awareness among masses about this life threatening disease. This year's theme is 'Getting to Zero'. In order to mark this Day, health organisation, institutions and NGOs have chalked out seminars, walks, and other programmes across the country. HIV and AIDS cases are steadily on the rise and Pakistan is being rated as a low-prevalence high risk country for HIV infection.
