Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Tuesday claimed to have recovered a hand grenade in the jurisdiction of Kalakot police station. According to police, the information was received that a hand grenade was lying near Al-Fateh School located in Lyari Jhatpat market.
Reacting on the said information, all concerned authorities including Bomb Disposal Squad, police and other investigation agencies rushed to the site and recovered a live hand grenade from the place. They said the BDS experts, who defused the grenade, took it away for further examination and added that the hand grenade, which was locally made, put the said spot just to spread panic in the area.
