Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Wednesday claimed to have nabbed 10 more suspects including two target killers and recovered weapons in separate raids at various parts of the metropolis. According to police, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) have arrested two target killers namely Bakht Rehman and Sakhi Rehman after brief encounter at Rasheedabad, Baldia Town and recovered two TT pistols from their possession.
They said both accused persons were involved in several heinous crimes including murders, extortions and others. They said the detained persons during initial course of investigation confessed to have murdered seven persons, besides collecting extortions from over a dozen places. The cases 529/11, 530/11 and 531/11 were registered under sections 353 and 13-D against them. Further investigation was underway.
Meanwhile, the Sindh Rangers conducted raid at Paper Market Kharadar and detained four suspects and recovered three TT pistols from their possessions. Sources said the raid was made on the information of detained person and added that all four suspects were transported to unknown place for further investigation. Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police also claimed to have arrested three criminals namely Saeed Khan, Abdul Wahab and Ikram Uddin and recovered three TT pistols and snatched mobile phone from them.
