National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh will observe International Anti-Corruption Day in a befitting manner on December 9. The event is observed on this day across the world as declared by the United Nations to create awareness among various segments of society on the affects of corruption and the need to eradicate it.
Major activities are planned by NAB Sindh in this connection. A ceremony will be held on December 8 at NAB Sindh head office to hand over a Hino bus recovered by it to education department. The Chief Guest on the occasion will be Sindh Education Minister.
On December 9, a seminar is being organised at a local hotel where the Chief Minister Sindh is expected to be the chief guest. Participants would be government officials. NAB Sindh has also requested media to arrange programmes to highlight the chronic issue of corruption and importance of the day.
