11 IRS officials promoted

The Federal Board of Revenue has promoted 11 officials of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) from Grade-20 to Grade-21 with immediate effect and given new assignments to these senior IRS officials. In this connection, the FBR has issued a notification here on Saturday.
According to the notification, In pursuance of FST, Islamabad's Order dated December 1, 2011 in appeals of Abdul Malik and 10 others vs FBR the following BS-20 officers of Inland Revenue Service are promoted to BS-21 and posted: Farzana Jabeen, Chief Commissioner (OPS), Regional Tax Office II, Karachi has been transferred and posted as Accountant Member, Appellate Tribunal (Inland Revenue), Karachi; Fiza Muzaffar from Chief Commissioner (OPS), Regional Tax Office II, Lahore to Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office II, Lahore; Azra Mujtaba from Member Directing Staff (Economy), National Defence University, Islamabad has been promoted with immediate effect, however, she will actualise promotion after her repatriation to the FBR or against an offered vacancy of BS-21 in the NDU.
Shahid Anwar Khan Chief Commissioner (OPS), Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi has been given new assignment as Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi; Muhammad Shahid Zaheer from Chief Commissioner (OPS), Regional Tax Office, Sialkot to Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Gujranwala; Qaisar Ali from Commissioner, Inland Revenue (Appeals), Peshawar to Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Peshawar (He is promoted with immediate effect however will assume the charger of the post wef December 16, 2011); Muhammad Younas Khan from Chief Commissioner, RTO, Peshawar to Chief Commissioner, RTO, Islamabad (he is promoted with immediate effect however will assume the charger of the post wef December 16, 2011.
After retirement of Farida Amjad); Shaista Abbas from Accountant Member (OPS), Appellate Tribunal (Inland Revenue), Karachi to Accountant Member, Appellate Tribunal (Inland Revenue), Karachi; Sameera Yasin from director, Directorate General of Training & Research (Inland Revenue), Lahore to Director General, Directorate General of Internal Audit (Inland Revenue), Lahore (She is promoted with immediate effect however will assume the charger of the post wef December 27, 2011, after retirement of Raana Mirza); Farida Amjad from Chief Commissioner (OPS) RTO, Islamabad to Chief Commissioner RTO, Islamabad and Raana Seerat Director General (OPS), Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad has been transferred and posted as Director General, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ) Islamabad.
