Scores of Wapda officers on Thursday staged a sit-in at their headquarters premises against the dissolution of the entity and demanded of the government to take all stakeholders, including power distribution companies on board before introducing new policy for reforms in power sector.
The protesters gathered under the banner of PESCO/TESCO Officers Association early Thursday morning at Wapda headquarters building to press the government for their demands. President of the association Engr. Abdul Latif led the protesters who were holding banners inscribed with slogans against the dissolution of Wapda.
