Shopkeepers of Jackson market on Thursday staged protest demonstration over the growing robbery incidents that led to create massive gridlock for hours. The shopkeepers were protesting against the robbery that was made on late Wednesday. The protesters, who staged protest demonstration at Jackson no 1 in the limits of Jackson police station, chanted slogans against the said incident and demanded the authority concerned to avert such incidents in future.
Police said the gang of robbers looted valuables from several shops of the said market on late Wednesday. They said the case has so far not registered as the police were presently evaluating the amount of robbed valuables.
