Dow University of Health Sciences is organising second international conference 'Diabetes 2011' in collaboration with Diabetic Association of Pakistan from December 10th - 12th, 2011 at Dow Medical College. Leading physicians and diabetics expert from Pakistan and abroad will be presenting their research papers during the conference which would be the cornerstone of the conference as its will focus on almost every aspect of the disease.
The event will focus on the multifaceted issues confronted during diabetes care and management. A public awareness programme for diabetes patients and their relatives is scheduled to be held on Saturday 10th December 2011 which will also be an important element of the conference. The conference promises to showcase a blend of academic research, seminar, hands-on training and free papers and poster session.
Chairman of the Conference, Professor Masood Hameed Khan, VC-DUHS told media that the academic exchange of experiences with the experts in this conference will provide impetus to increase the research efforts at all levels-clinical, laboratory and operational. Deliberations will be made to pave way for improving and strengthening the diabetes health care. The proceedings of the conference will provide a deep insight into the academic content to be discussed in the event.
