Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab circles are mum over the ailment of President Zardari and avoiding any comment on his health status. It may be noted that all efforts to get in touch with top provincial leadership failed, as no one from among them was available to responds. Those who turned up telephone lines regretted from sharing any details in this regard.
Majority of the party provincial leadership was of the view that variety of explanations on President's health status has already created confusion therefore they have been advised by the party top leadership to avoid comments on the situation.
Meanwhile, different political circles kept discussing about the possibility of early return of President Zardari. It is interesting to note that majority of public opinion is that president Zardari would not return and prefer to send his resignation from abroad. However, the PPP leadership has rebutted it and termed it a desire of the 'rumour mongers'.
